Technical Sales Support Representative - Fluid Systems
Our client is the authorized sales and service center for a privately-held company that designs, manufactures and delivers a range of high quality fluid system products and solutions. They seek a Sales Representative to provide technical and salessupport to their sales team, both inside and out, as well as their customers. Developing and maintaining an extensive knowledge of company products and services, and the ability to effectively communicate it to others, is essential to success in this position.
*** Interface with customers to serve their technical needs within industrial, commercial, university research, construction, manufacturing, gas exploration, biotech, power and chemical & petrochemical industries.
*** Understand customer applications in any form, including verbal, written, hand or CAD drawings, P&ID, etc.
*** Map to existing product capabilities or provide alternative solution ideas to customer, excluding engineering or design advice.
***Support Outside Sales team with non-customer facing sales activities.
*** Interface with all areas of the company to provide technical support as needed, including quotes, orders, and equipment rental fulfillment.
*** Manage equipment rental program, including order and return processes and maintenance, and repair and calibration processes.
*** Follow-up on deliveries.
*** Engage in continuous improvement education & training and professional development in alignment with company programs.
*** 1+ years of technical experience in engineering processes, semi-conductor, analytical instrumentation, alternative fuels, or similar industries is desirable.
*** 1+ years of customer service or salesexperience.
*** Knowledge of fluid system components and applications.
*** Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, MS CRM, and IMS software is desirable.
