Technical Sales Specialist, Tesla Energy

We are seeking a full-time Technical Sales Specialist on our residential energy product channel team. As a leader on this team, you'll help accelerate the growth of our Powerwall and residential Energy products with our B2B partners, helping them optimize their design and installation of our products, operationalize best practices and unlock constraints to their growth. You'll be joining a fast paced team, wearing several hats focused on the success of our B2B channel partners. Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the account management teams to drive and strengthen the customer relationship
• This role is expected to travel and visit partners in person across a wide geography, expect 50% travel
• Provide day-to-day product and design support to customers and customer-facing teams
• Develop trusting relationship with customers to understand their product needs and technical challenges
• Engage with the technical support teams to ensure speedy resolution of customer escalations when necessary
• Develop strategy, processes and metrics to enable ongoing measurement and evaluation of quality in the network of installation partners
• Leverage available audit data and field feedback to track trends and determine appropriate corrective or preventive actions

Requirements

• At least 1 year of lead experience installing and/or servicing Powerwall system
• Hands-on understanding of how our products get designed, installed, and commissioned
• A strong understanding of the national electric code, industry best practices, and experience with electrical permitting and interconnection
