The Technical Sales Director for Trauma & Extremities works with the Regional Market Management team and Sales Management to implement launch and sales execution plans. This role will be a conduit of the execution of launching Limited market release for new products, be a key role in Full Market Release, account conversions and implementing the roadmaps that Commercialization has developed. The Technical Sales Director is key in the development of Associate Sales Representatives and Trauma Sales Representatives.
Work with other developmental aspects (Sales Training, other Directors of Field Marketing, etc)Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Product Development or Business Management required MS or MBA preferred.
Experience: Minimum seven (7) years' experience in sales, marketing, technical sales support or sales management in the medical device industry. This should include proven success in achieving sales objectives in a variety of distribution structures and product segments.
Dynamic, aggressive, Technical-oriented leadership with well-developed communication skills.
"Hands on" Training and Technical Support style; adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment.
Good business sense – an understanding of how marketing ties into the profitability of a company. Previous P&L "exposure" or accountability is important.
