The Company, the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, is seeking to hire a Technical Resiliency Manager for its' Dallas area office located in Coppell, TX. This position is expected to be performed remotely from the Dallas or Coppell, TX area and for which relocation assistance will be provided. The position will remain remote through or before July 2021, at which time candidate will be required to work onsite.

In this project leadership role, you will lead and manage technology project teams and direct reports, build awareness of company’s technology resilience requirements and best practices, and confirm that these are implemented prior to release of new systems into production. This role will also contribute to special projects in areas such as new technology assessments, data-driven analysis and presentation of analytical results in regards to business continuity and resiliency

The best candidates for this position will have a Software Development or IT Infrastructure background. Plus, he or she will be experienced performing in a consultative capacity - meeting with stakeholders, IT staff and project teams to confirm implementation of systems, review projects for compliance and perform formal reviews to determine that all tools and systems are in place to meet company capabilities. You'll look at infrastructure capabilities and suggest technology needs and improvements; as well as monitor for risks and direct recovery strategies.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Monitor ongoing technology projects and their status
• Assist in building business continuity tools using tools such as SQL and Python
• Analyze large system configuration data sets to identify risks and opportunities
• Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors
• Understand project objectives and assess potential business continuity risks and opportunities
• Plan and track engagement with project teams, and open issues from a business continuity policy compliance perspective
• Work with project managers and stakeholders to close business continuity compliance gaps
• Escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner
• Define and track metrics related to project and system compliance with applicable policies
• Provide input to periodic adjustments of business continuity technology policy and controls

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field. Masters preferred
2. Minimum of 8-10 years of directly - related, recent experience
3. Background in Application Development or Infrastructure is a must
4. Proven experience analyzing large data sets using SQL and Python is required
5. Experienced in Oracle & Agile is needed. Sequel or Postgre is nice, but not mandatory
6. Minimum of 3 years in an Enterprise Technology or Operations Risk Management role
7. Experienced in new Cloud Technologies (Azure etc..) Training or certification in enterprise technology and/or cloud solutions preferred
8. USC or GC required for this role
