Toshiba is seeking a Technical Recruiter to be a part of our Talent Acquisition Team.  In this role, you will support multiple engineering groups within Toshiba and will be responsible for the process of attracting, recruiting, interviewing and closing all levels of positions. As a member of the TA team you will work directly with leaders, developing the recruitment strategy and process for each position and then leading the execution of sourcing strategies through to close.  This is a contract role.


  • Recruit and deliver highly qualified external candidates against open positions, drawing upon consulting skills and staffing expertise to recommend the best course of action to recruit, assess, select, and hire
  • Ensure the best experience  end to end, in the full recruiting life cycle
  • Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers and HR to deeply understand hiring needs
  • Proactively keep teams properly informed throughout the entire acquisition process
  • Drive offer approval, extension and negotiation process
  • In partnership with TA team, analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns (ROI) in an effort to maximize results, and adjust future activities to reflect key learnings
  • Daily management of our applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure 100% data integrity


  • A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
  • At least 7 years of full cycle recruiting experience, engineering at all levels, must have experience recruiting in-house
  • Excellent “matchmaking” skills; ability to connect candidates with the right opportunities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ultimate team player; willing and excited to roll up your sleeves and contribute to all parts of the recruiting process
  • Experience recruiting for skilled engineers in the semiconductor, storage, or networking industries
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and manage multiple searches at once
  • Excellent customer focus and ability to engage stakeholders effectively
  • Effective sourcing and recruiting skills (including passive recruiting) with proven results
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills and high-level of business acumen
  • Ability to understand different technologies and their applications to enable effective sourcing
