Job Type: Contract 12 Months

Job Description:

  • Experience Level - 12+ years
  • The position is for an experienced Senior Project Manager to work within the Wealth Management Global Technology Team:
  • Senior Project manager is responsible for the definition, planning and tracking of project activities to meet or exceed customer and stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Leads one or more change the bank or run the bank projects, programmes, or initiatives , which may involve multiple technical disciplines.
  • May consult on and utilize latest project methodologies, including Agile.
  • Includes typical Project Management Office activities as well
  • Responsible for Managing projects/ programs
  • Responsible for managing project managers and business analysts, to deliver each project.
  • Responsible for all areas of a programme: from inception to implementation and support.
  • Capable to design suitable projects to deliver the required outputs whilst managing the costs to budget delivering the business benefits according to plan, identifying project delivery risks and proposing mitigations as required.
  • Work closely with the different IT application groups within the bank.
  • This will include existing Deutsche application development team when implementing in-house solutions as well as the local IT teams based in each of the Emerging Markets countries.

Desired Skills (include required soft skills):

  • Following skills are REQUIRED in the prospective candidate:
  • Minimum 15 years of total experience with at least 10 years of financial domain experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of Wealth Management experience.
  • 7 to 8 years of relevant work experience: experience in large/complex IT architecture environments and experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale development projects.
  • Ensure the project and associated business case are scoped, initiated and approved according to required procedures
  • Ensure the project is planned in a manner that delivers to the required cost and quality and within the agreed scope, including appropriate milestone definition, work breakdown structure, dependencies, and assumptions
  • Ensure the project is resourced appropriately
  • Ensure the project work is executed and implemented according to the plan or any agreed changes to the plan and according to agreed project management standards
  • Ensure relevant and appropriate analysis, management information, and reporting is provided
  • Ensure that requirements, plans, risks, issues, actions, costs, schedules, benefits, and other related project artefacts are documented and tracked
  • Ensure that appropriate meetings are held and that outputs and artefacts are produced and distributed.
  • Chair the relevant meetings
  • Utilize the relevant governance bodies / steering committees for the purpose they are established
  • Ensure that the project work is compliant with documented standards, templates, and frameworks, and captured in agreed toolsets
  • Ensure project stakeholder awareness, engagement, and communication
  • Analyse and identify possible risks and issues that could impact delivery and either resolve them or escalate as appropriate
  • Proposal to adjust financial plan, when better insight reveals more appropriate costs
  • Ensure the project spends according to the agreed financial plan

Other General Task:

  • Extensive experience creating project plans, excel, ppt documents for senior mgmt presentation
  • Effective communication to manage meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Basic database skills(running database queries

Key Requirements along with experience (in Yrs):

  • Minimum 15 years of total experience with at least 10 years of financial domain experience.
