Job Description

As the technical project manager, you work with cross-functional machine learning, clinical data science and engineering teams to build and deliver AI-powered solutions to health insurers globally. You have the ability to distil complex technical requirements and align teams to collaborative problem solving. Your prior experience in highly technical projects involving development, infrastructure, and security allows you to not only track projects but also dig deeper into validating the solution. You also operationalize systems with a detailed knowledge of operational standards and procedures. You lead with empathy, pragmatism and have mastered the strategic balance of helping teams meet short-term client deliverables and moving forward towards long-term product visions.

Responsibilities

- Work directly with client and provide clear communication with teams, clients, and management to ensure proactive resolution of potential challenges as they arise

- Ensure client success by proactively collecting and transferring client feedback back to the team

- Manage localization of software and translation of documents

- Ensure that proper lightweight documentation (captured in artifacts such as program vision statement, program backlog, program roadmap, release plan, sprint backlog, and increments) is prioritized and added to the team's backlog of work

- Ensure solutions are delivered to technical specifications across application development, instructure, and security

- Deploy solutions ensuring operational readiness and support is in place including meeting internal standards and procedures

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering, business, Information sciences or other related field

- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a strong understanding of traditional agile project management principles and practices coupled with working experience as a Scrum Master and Project Manager

- Experience in scaling up technical platforms and services in a startup environment

- Experience working in large enterprise IT environments

- Well versed in JIRA and confluence

- Experience with Data Science products or products involving the use of ML/Deep Learning technology

- Prior or current hands on experience in development, infrastructure, security, or solution architecture

- Experience in operationalizing systems including ensuring operational readiness and support processes are in place

- Experience in SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, COBIT, or other similar standard frameworks, including achieving complaint implementations thereof

- Strong communication and presentation skills, experience interfacing with various business and technical stakeholders

Nice to haves

- Good written and verbal skills in Traditional Chinese

- Experience running Scrum of Scrums and scaling agile practices

- Experience with digital product development and management
