Job Description

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Providing technical oversight and leadership for the engineering team
  • Providing issue resolution recommendations to the customer by analyzing, researching, and gathering data to review with engineering team
  • Identifying alternatives and creating design and resolution approaches
  • Defining test plans, test data, test prioritization, coordinating test execution, and tracking defects as part of the Quality Assurance process
  • Organizing and actively leading daily stand-ups and TEMs
  • Defining and delivering best practices, efficiencies, and improvements for the customer's desktop operating systems
  • Regularly communicating the status of projects to stakeholders
  • Ensuring technical skills and knowledge are current, relevant, and in line with the customer's technology strategy
  • Closely collaborating and interfacing with branch managers, external partners, engineers, and release operations throughout the engineering cycle (e.g., gathering issues and/or requirements, as well as design, test, implementation, release, and maintenance)
  • Working closely with security personnel to ensure the implementations follow the security accreditation process

You will bring the following experience:

  • Experience in remote locations
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proven technical background
  • Proven technical leadership abilities
  • Proven understanding of product release methodologies
  • Strong understanding of security accreditation processes
  • Experience in customer service

You will have one of the following:

  • 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
  • 10 Years of job related experience and Associate's degree
  • 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor's degree
  • 6 Years of job related experience and Master's degree
  • 4 Years of job related experience and a Doctorate

It would be nice if you had the following:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Experience creating and running Splunk reports
  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) software
  • Experience with regression testing
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
