Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • years of experience defining system and/or process requirements for scaled systems; including solutions architecture.
  • Experience in network engineering and/or related technical roles in the telecommunications or internet industries.
  • Experience leading the end-to-end process of data center design and deployment/turn-up.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in data center management and research and development with 5 years of experience managing large, fast-paced and dynamic engineering teams.
  • Experience defining system and/or process requirements for large-scale systems.
  • Deep understanding of data networks and supporting product features, services and technologies (e.g., networking protocols at layers 2 and 3, SDN principles, automation in data centers).
  • Ability to identify organizational needs, establish priorities, work independently, drive results through informal authority, serve as a trusted consultant to key business partners and represent users and customers in every thought and interaction.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements withinternal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.
