MicroVision is looking for a highly motivated technical program manager to support current and new programs targeted at the consumer electronics market.  The role is part of the Embedded Firmware Development team and contributes to the future of Microvision technology and products.


  • Develop and maintain program plans and schedules
  • Interact with embedded firmware team members and the functional manager to define scope of work, develop and updateschedules, and provide resource recommendations
  • Work across multiple technical disciplines and organizational boundaries to drive execution of program plans
  • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding program issues, decisions and status
  • Facilitate use and interaction with the company’s issue and bug tracking system
  • Communicate objectives, key results and insights with management via presentations and ongoing analysis reporting
  • Identify and communicate critical program risks, schedule conflicts, or resource constraints and involve appropriate levels of management to manage
  • Assist the team in efforts to achieve group and corporate milestones and goals

Required skills:

  • Experience in establishing project plans covering implementation, production and sustaining for software programs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/programs
  • Fluency with Project/Process Management tools
  • Ability to clearly analyze critical path items/issues and provide mitigation strategies
  • Management of external technical partners, vendors, and customers
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully across a broad range engineering disciplines
  • Self-starter, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction

Experience and education:

  • BS degree or above in electrical/computer science engineering or related technical field preferred
  • Experience with embedded firmware
  • Experience or knowledge of statistics and probability theory
  • Experience or knowledge of linear systems, control theory, DSP
  • Minimum 3 years of technical program management experience
