Technical Program Manager, Machine Learning Infrastructure at Waymo in Mountain View, CA

In this role you’ll:

• Determination and execution of the technical roadmap for our Machine Learning Infrastructure and Tools
• Prioritize and manage issues, risks and dependencies and resolve misalignments with overall scope and schedule
• Proactively identify and eliminate risks to the Machine Learning technical roadmap
• Synthesize and communicate status of the teams at multiple levels to highlight the team’s accomplishments, flag areas of risk and provide a call to action around important milestones
• Partner closely with the engineering managers on tools and processes to prioritize, track and streamline the team’s work, and to scale a rapidly growing team in a fast-paced environment; take the initiative to identify and resolve ways in which the team can set itself up for success.
• Represent the team and drive creation or improvements in cross-functional processes

At the minimum we'd like you to have:

• BA/BS degree in technical field
• 5 years of experience in Technical Program Management - orchestrating complex technical software projects
• Exceptional communication skills. Influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a highly complex, always-changing environment
• Passion about self-driving technology and its potential impact on the world

It's preferred if you have:

• Experience with Machine Learning programs
• Experience building infrastructure and tools that are used across a broader organization
• Master’s degree
