Overview

As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team, you will bring a software development perspective to aerospace applications of high-performance computing, data transformation, analysis pipelines, and test data visualization. As a Technical Product Manager, you are responsible for the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of systems that automate data collection and analysis processes across all phases of launch vehicle system design, development, testing and operations. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedication and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for multiple systems and work with end users to advocate on behalf of their needs
  • 2-5 years of relevant product-related experience
  • Deliver results to the business, including defining and executing a roadmap of features and functionality
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage commercial software purchases and deployment in a small-to-medium business environment
  • Communicate roadmap and plans to management and the broader company
  • Work with multiple teams across the organization to define and implement new processes around vehicle engineering, test, verification, and operations
  • Work with customers and the development team to design user experiences, including prototypes and mockups
  • Perform analytics on data to drive business decisions and iterate on our products
  • Anticipate business needs with proposals and system solutions

Qualifications

  • Experience working with software engineering teams in a hands-on capacity as a product manager, engineering manager, or similar role
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proven ability to leverage data in decision making
  • A demonstrated history of becoming an expert in an unfamiliar domain
  • Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to continuously improve it
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills and a proven ability to drive complex projects with minimal oversight
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and communicate to a diverse user base
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
