The Opportunity:We're looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Information Technology team.
This role requires you to perform essential duties 1-3 days per week in your assigned Aviso Office.
Reporting to the Senior Technical Product Manager, the Technical Product Manager will provide management oversight to a multidisciplinary Information Technology Team working in an Agile delivery environment and Product lifecycle management for technology assets developed in-house. This role will also be responsible for the planning, execution, delivery, and stakeholder communication/reporting of large technology projects.

What your day looks like: - Provide technical and people leadership to members of a software delivery driven Project/Product team
- Oversee the Product Management lifecycle including the development and continuous management of Product/API roadmaps, capability analysis, and delivering reports for technical and non-technical audiences
- Translate feature requests into actionable requirements with acceptance criteria for the engineering team
- Manage project-based delivery initiatives including the development of cost and time estimates, and detailed work plans to meet business and technology objectives.
- Define and track on key performance indicators/success metrics for technology-driven projects; Proactively analyze for issues and/or opportunities
- Assess and provide recommendations to mitigate risk to delivery milestones using proven risk management methods
- Ensure that Engineering standards and Secure SDLC policies are followed
RequirementsYour experience and skills: - A degree or diploma in either computer science or engineering from a recognized institution
- 5+ years of experience in managing technical and software development focused project delivery; Enterprise technology modernization experience preferred
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, secure coding concepts and DevSecOps practices
- Knowledge of Cloud Development (Azure), Microservices architecture and Container technologies (Docker) an asset
- Strong background in stakeholder and team management focused on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Familiar with Agile based software development processes and code management tools like Azure DevOps
- Either one or multiple of Agile/SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2 or similar professional certification
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

SalaryThis position is posted with an expected salary range of $90,000 - $111,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
