Technical Marketing Manager at Faction.inc in Denver, CO

You will create opportunities; be the face of Faction; speak at events; develop relationships with key constituents and influencers; engage with product management on adoption of key initiatives; blog, Tweet, and speak about Faction consistently. You will lead engagement with developers at large, and technical marketing resources at key partners like Dell Technologies, VMware, and public cloud providers. You will develop, refine, and show powerful demos of both capabilities and integrations.

• KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY: Solid technical background with a strong subject matter expertise in cloud computing. Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills. Ability to excite, influence, and motivate others. Comfortable speaking in front of large crowds. Ability to simplify and elevate deep technical topics. Deep knowledge and understanding of technology trends and competitive landscape. Knowledge of the technology communities, leaders and emerging technologies. Love people, and love being helpful. Self-motivated, innovative and creative. Ability to live and exemplify the Faction story.

• JOB COMPLEXITY: Work closely with the technical Community, Architecture, Product Management and Product Marketing to engage audiences and communicate about Faction. Serve as a recognized Faction expert within the technology community and evangelize our strategy for service, product development and progression. Write, speak, and talk about Faction’s products and technologies in public and social media forums.

• EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or technical field and 5 - 7 years of industry experience and/or relevant experience in evangelizing emerging technologies. Demonstrated excellence in public speaking, customer/partner interaction, social media and media/analyst engagement. This position requires a unique combination of technical knowledge and natural marketing know-how.

· TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION

Preferred certifications include: VMware (VCP, VCA, VCDX, VCP-X, VCAP-X); AWS/Azure and Google Solution Architect certifications; Experience in relational, no-SQL and unstructured data platforms
