Description Leidos is seeking a
Technical Manual Manager to join the FAA Enterprise Integrated Display System (E-IDS) program. This is an exciting opportunity to use your project and systems integration engineering experience, knowledge of Technical Manuals and Training and leadership skills in a fast-paced FAA terminal environment.
Responsibilities:- Manage/Lead a team of Technical Manual Developers in executing the programs requirements and deliverables.
- Planning and overseeing development and execution of both Tech Manual.
- Provide Cost and Schedule tracking, EVM performance and Variance reporting.
- Cost Account Management (CAM) Cost estimating, workload and manpower planning, including authoring Basis of Estimates (BOEs), in support of team's current and future business needs on the program (e.g. proposals and task order preparation).
- Work very closely with our FAA customer (travel 10-20% time to the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Egg Harbor Township NJ) to build a relationship with FAA management.
- Facilitate communications between the customer and the development team, prepare for and present at internal meeting and customer reviews, keeping track of issues and action items.
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation steps to those risks.
- Providing full direction to Leidos and contractor resources for our Technical Manual assignments.
- Plan, schedule, and staff all Technical Manual assignments over multiple programs for our aviation area.
Qualifications: - Bachelors' Degree is required with 6 years of applicable experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
- US citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:- Technical Manual and or Training development skills and tools.
- Candidate must have prior background as a manager of Technical Manuals.
- Previous Tech Manual CAM experience desired
- Control Account Management (CAM) certification or ability to attain one though Leidos EVM.
- Knowledge/Experience in use of FAA Maintenance Standards, Handbooks and Manuals
- Strong Communication and MS: Office skills (excel, power point, word).

Pay Range:Pay Range $97,500.00 - $176,250.00
