-Technical Authority Role: owns the design of modules or assets for the simulator platform module and related mechanical systems.
-Supervises the modules or assets design in conjunction with SME’s
-Has the authority over the modules or assets design and its interfaces
-Determines what should be part of the common baseline and what should be project specific.
-Leads the community of practice for their functional area.
-Ensures sharing the knowledge, insight and best practices and competition
-Performs technology watch related to industry trend, best practices and competition
-Supports innovation projects
-Develops the roadmap for the module or asset
-Support the estimation and work assignment process.
-Is an authorized approver: will review, validate and approve drawings and designs in PLM/Windchill
-Is a technical assessor: will supervise, mentor and evaluate technical staff as per the requirements of CAE's Technical Career Track.
•Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related field.
•Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
•Member of the OIQ (professional)
•Several years’ experience at CAE an asset.
•Dynamic team player with sense of initiative. Results-oriented, has good team spirit.
•Good oral and written communication skills, leadership, good team spirit and process management skills.
•Good knowledge of MS-Office suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio.
•Effective time management and multitasking skills. Ability to manage risk, project scope, and resources.

•Ability to adapt to change.
•Availability to travel.
•Bilingualism (French and English) is required
