Lab Network Specialist lead for DCG Silicon Development (DSD) US labs. This individual will be responsible for US labs network setup, infrastructure upgrade, 24X7 uptime support, and compliance to all Intel IT corporate standards. Partner with lab managers in Israel and India, develop clear and concise technical documentation of Intel IT corporate standards (applicable to DSD labs), customer requirements, developer requirements, and communication plan to our engineering lab customers. Be the Liaison between Intel IT, developers, and our engineering lab customers.
3-5 years of experience working in a LAB.
Windows OS Networking
Linux network stack (various kernels)
Linux OS administration, including efi and grub configuration, installations
Intel Office Network standards
Intel Lab Network standards
DNS, DHCP, Static-IP, PXE process
Information Security and Networking (i.e. app. firewalls, switching/routing and load balancing).
Must have an in-depth understanding of Intel IT network security standards to respond to issues in a timely manner.
Must be self-driven, quick learner, team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate issue immediately to all affected individuals / teams, track and document issue to completion, publish incident reports, and document BKMs in the wiki.
Must possess a strong sense of ownership and transparent acceptance of responsibility, be able to work proactively, independently, collaboratively, and multi task effectively.
Ability to write shell scripts
Intel Validation Platforms (CRB, FPGA, RVP), perform BIOS configuration and updates
Setup HW equipment, PCIe, Analyzers, etc.
