As a Technical Implementation Manager at Roostify, you’ll be working with our customers on the technical deployment process to ensure the successful implementation and use of our product. You’ll be learning everything you can about our Product and work collaboratively with customers to determine how Roostify can help transform their operations. You will be working closely with the Implementation Managers on managing the technical threads of the implementation. You will become the SME on the Roostify application and integrations and help fill any gaps in documentation and build implementation user guides.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has a deep understanding of software delivery in the enterprise context and has experience delivering technical solutions. You must be analytical, self-driven, adaptable, able to operate in a fast-paced environment, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leverage your technical expertise on the Roostify application and integrations to assist the client in the implementation of the Roostify solution
- Become SME for various Roostify Integration and Product features. The Technical Implementation Manager is expected to be a subject matter expert, understanding all facets of the product to help customers execute their projects to best practices. They will support the customer with product training and demos to audiences of varying business and technical backgrounds.
- Provides business and system analysis support for our large and often highly complex, enterprise-level implementations of Roostify, each of which may include multiple integrations and customization efforts delivered via concurrent workstreams
- Owns and leads Technical calls/threads with customers with high effectiveness; instilling trust and excitement in their choice to work with Roostify
- Own the implementation timeline, liaising internally with Product Specialists and Engineering to execute any custom implementations
- Works closely with teams across Roostify on identification and tracking of technical project deliverables and activities to meet key milestones
- Identifies key dependencies, plans for risks, and collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to create effective mitigation strategies as required
- Meets and confers with customer management and technical personnel regarding the status of specific Roostify activities, and problems, issues, or conflicts requiring resolution
- Gathers and documents business, functional and technical requirements related to Roostify implementation, customization and integration efforts, maintain requirements traceability
- The Technical Implementation Manager will document and track the progress of the implementation along with the issues that are being managed using Roostify’s standard procedures and systems
- Works closely with Roostify development teams to ensure requirements are fully met and tested prior to release to UAT and production
- Works with customer and Roostify personnel to highlight necessary changes in business processes driving and accompanying system changes related to the Roostify implementation
- Helps to be the voice of the customer as it relates to the technical requirements of products during the implementation cycle
- Be hands-on. Ensure technical excellence by reviewing the outputs of systems, mandating quality and getting sign off from stakeholders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Good understanding of Ruby on Rails or any object-oriented programming concepts
- Knowledge of hosted support models along with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, etc.
- BS/BA and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the implementation of a SaaS product or Customer support role preferably in a SaaS or Software entity
- Strong Knowledge of APIs, cloud service architecture
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and release cycles
- Basic understanding of SSO, Heroku/AWS, Postman, Splunk, VS Code or any code editor preferred
- Working knowledge of complex networks and performing log analysis of events and audits
- Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues as well as the ability to replicate and document issues for further escalation
- Experience with implementing POS, LOS, CRM or LMS is preferrable
- Experience in a client-facing role & must be highly collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally
- Excellent organization and demonstrated communications skills
- Ability to work with teams across Roostify and our enterprise customers’ IT and business functions
- Ability to quickly become deeply familiar with Roostify’s current and planned capabilities, the scope of a specific implementation, integration and/or customization effort, as well as the customer’s business objectives and success criteria
- Ability to effectively work as part of a remote team
