The Technical Engagement Leader (TEL) for Integration & Interoperability is the primary manager for the overall definition, delivery and planning of integration related work during Cerner's software implementation and/or services effort with clients. The TEL will serve as a liaison between Cerner and the client to ensure all targets and requirements are completed on schedule and within scope.
The TEL is also responsible for leading and motivating the team and is viewed by clients as the primary contact for a wide variety of issues related to their integration. The TEL is the expert judge of the clients’ risk factors for successful implementation and management of their integration.
In addition to project management work, the TEL will coordinate resources, scheduling, and other factors including but not limited to basic operational and financial metrics involved with these projects. You will also need to be able to partner effectively with stakeholders, deliver under tight deadlines, have strong communication skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, IS, CS, Engineering or Business Administration or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
At least 3 years of project management, system administration or system engineering work experience
At least 1+ years of experience working on Integration projects leveraging HL7, X12, and/or FHIR
At least 1+ years of experience and a solid understanding of database technologies
At least 3+ years of project management/implementation work experience
Proficient with task management utilities
