We’re looking for anexperienced technical writer to make oursupport content clear, accurate, and effective for ourinternal community. As a member of the Collaboration and Productivity team, you’ll join a global group dedicated to creating an amazing environment where our systems and tools facilitate seamless collaboration and high productivity for everyone at Apple. In this role as an Identity Management Services (IdMS) technical writer, you’llpartner with subject-matter experts and recommend communication strategies. You’ll then translate complex and constantly evolving authentication- and authorization-based technical information into simple-to-follow steps enabling ourinternal community to stay safe and productive. In addition, you’ll collaborate with global and local peers to make sure content is accurate, appropriate, and visually engaging. At the end of your day, you’ll know you did your life’s best work, empowering the Apple community to do theirs.

Key Qualifications

  • 5-plus years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2-plus years with a Master's degree
  • Exceptional writing, editing, formatting, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Experience transforming technical content using formatting and visuals
  • A knack for finding creative approaches to problem-solving — often reducing the amount of required documentation
  • Experience with any of these domains: identity, security, or user guides.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects on tight timelines while maintaining acute attention to the details
  • Experience collaborating with engineers, writers, visual designers, copy editors, global colleagues, and diverse stakeholders
  • Comfortable with voicing your opinion and fostering discussion as a team contributor and collaborator
  • Ability to influence stakeholders towards a different recommended perspective while maintaining good working relationships
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and diplomatically
  • Real passion to drive and create great user experiences

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in technical communication, marketing, writing and composition, or similar field (Master's degree preferred)
