Role Summary/Purpose

The Technical Commercial Manager – Emissions, will be responsible for ensuring the growth of the Emissions product line, by analyzing customer requirements and creating a combined technical and commercial proposal that supports of these requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

The Technical Commercial Manager will foster cross functional input to design the optimum technical solution, including the selection of our solutions, whether our UAV/drone technology, or ground sensors, as well as the type of sensors and placement of these sensors on each site. After the technical solution has been designed, the Technical Commercial Manager will define the commercial terms and pricing, and package both the technical and commercial pieces into a coherent proposal that both supports the customers needs and ensures the growth of the Emissions product line.

In the role of Technical Commercial Manager, you will:

  • Work with the Sales team to identify potential opportunities and ensure that they are captured in Deal Machine
  • Work directly with customers to understand their solution requirements
  • Craft a technical solution that utilizes the product portfolio of not only the Emissions product line, but the larger BHGE to support those customer requirements
  • Create a commercial proposal that ensures the success of both the customer and BHGE, including terms and conditions, timing and other contractual obligations
  • Understand the competitive landscape, including pricing, and establish a competitive cost position
  • Submit the proposal to the customer and ensure success by winning the bid

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or Business) from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management and/or Engineering
  • Travel up to 20% of the time, as required
