Technical Agile Project Manager (for DevOps Organization)
(Contract role with our client in San Francisco)

? As a Technical Project manager with Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies, you will be responsible for driving various projects for DevOps teams.
? Manage efforts across DevOps teams and cross functional teams for release planning.
? Lead, plan, communicate and schedule releases to ensure successful deployment.
? Manage multiple projects through all sprints and phases of the project.
? Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, sprint/release planning, demos and otherScrum-related meetings.
? Work with management to provide the reporting around the deliverables for the team.
? Determine and remove all obstacles that may interfere with the ability of the team to deliver assigned goals.
? Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.
? Provide direction to project activities to ensure successful implementation and support.
? Promote continuous improvement and help teams to self organize.
? Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
? Assist in defining and deploying new product development processes and in facilitating the continuous improvement of existing processes.
? Work with the DevOps/ QA and release management teams.
? Technologies employed by the projects include: Jira, Confluence
? 10+ years TPM experience working with enterprise development teams.
? Exhibited expertise with Scrum, Kanban, Jira and Confluence.
? Minimum of 3 years experience working with software development teams using Agile/Scrum principles and practices
? Experience working with geographically distributed teams working across several timezones
? Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
? Knowledge of techniques for adapting Scrum practices to specific situations
? Must have experience using Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence to manage backlogs, burndowns and team collaboration
? TDD/ BADD/ CI/CD
? Jenkins, Cucumber, Sonar
? Must be self-motivated, dedicated and have the ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
? Experience in ATG/ Oracle nice to have
? Experience in retail industry nice to have
