General Description The position oversees tracking of overall mobile projects for North America markets, reports the project status and escalates risk factors to management as needed. The position handles common technical and business issues on projects and takes proper actions to resolve issues until the closing.
? Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of mobile projects for North America markets ? Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders ? Track whether all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and with target features ? Monitor detailed project plan and track progress ? Monitor changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques ? Collect all project risks and escalate to management as needed ? Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for project status and issues ? Collect project postmortem issues, draw and follow up action items to improve the issues ? Handles common technical and business issues on projects and take proper actions to resolve until closing ? Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders including headquarter engineering teams
Necessary Skills / Attributes
• Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of Electronic/Computer/Telecommunication engineering. • Proven working experience in project management in the mobile product area • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in mobile product development • Bachelor's Degree with 8-12 years of directly related experience in telecommunications engineering and project management activities • Strong background in IMS protocol required • The ability to development and maintain excellent working relationships with multiples levels within the company • The ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs and tables of information and to plan and prioritize multiple work assignments. • Demonstrate high competency level in communication skills using both oral and written modes for internal and external personnel at all management and staff organizational levels for both persuasion in sales decision activities and/or the communication • Read, interpret and act on very high level of proper understanding of technical documents based on corporate engineering standards and philosophy. • Must be able to communicate in writing, through email and reports, or orally complex technical matters to an audience that may include less technically oriented listeners. • Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames. • The ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to clearly define objectives and functional direction with an implied knowledge of task alternatives and decision making experience. • The ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization. • The ability to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities. • The ability to determine strategies to move the organization forward, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results. • The ability to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Candidate must be bilingual English & Korean
