Title: Technology Solutions Sales Rep 2 (Design & Planning Suite)

Location: Remote or Work From Home

Travel: Up to 25% travel

Role Summary:

As a Technology Solutions Sales Executive at IQVIA, the primary job duty is to sell the suite of Design & Planning Solutions - SaaS and service offerings to prospective enterprise-level mid-sized pharma, biopharma and CRO customers in the Life Sciences Industry on the West Coast. In addition to the primary duty, other responsibilities include:

• Manage sales through forecasting, account strategy, and planning

• Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application(s)

• Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition

• Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale

• Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers

• Establish strong relationships with key executives at strategic accounts


• Bachelors Degree Required

• Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding new business sales targets

• Minimum of 5 years direct software or application software sales experience

• Self-starter with strong drive to succeed

• Hunter mentality and documented success

• Proven ability to work independently to achieve results

• Start-up company experience and background desirable

• Commitment to customer satisfaction and the highest standards of integrity and professionalism

• Excellent time and activity management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations and organizational skills

• Willing and able to travel

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

• Previous experience selling technology to clinical stakeholders of R&D in mid-sized pharma, biopharma and CROs

• Established network of contacts within the Life Sciences Industry

• Strong understanding of how the industry works
