Opportunity Overview

Software integration and release plays an important role in developing our fast-growing and complex autonomous driving technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various teams ranging from algorithm development to vehicle testing and operations. You will lead a development team to continuously improve our integration platform/tools, work with other teams to improve our integration and release processes, and monitor the integration operations closely to achieve maximum accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead a team to continuously improve efficiency and robustness of overall software integration, build and release.
Build up roadmaps for improvements on integration platforms/tools (packaging system, build system, etc), track the development and scale up the team to support it.
Work with stakeholders from development teams and coordinate their activities to meet release timeline.
Track integration progress and results from testings, analyze release blockers, and deliver software release at a planned cadence.
Continuously monitor the efficiency of existing integration processes, identify and produce improvement plans on development workflow, branch management, package releases and dependency resolving.

Qualifications

Seasoned software integration and release engineer/manager with 5+ years of experience in large, complex products
Experience with software process improvement and enforcement
Solid understanding and experience with version control systems, e.g. git, and CI/CD tools, e.g. Jenkins, and testing automation.
Experience with large C++ projects in the Linux environment, familiar with Bazel and modern Cmake.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven record of technical management.
