A Senior Manager in the Security R&D group is responsible for developing the prototypes that bring Accenture's Technology Vision to life. This includes working within the R&D teams creating the software and other materials needed to demonstrate the value of a new technology. They must be able to learn new technologies very quickly and be able to adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
Our Senior Managers represent their research initiatives as subject matter specialists to projects across Accenture and to our clients. Advising clients and internal teams on security strategy and capabilities to solve the hardest of security challenges. Senior Managers present often at conferences, lead client workshops, and are expected to become known authorities within industry in their research initiative.
Build Internal & External RelationshipsRepresent the R&D group and the overall Labs in internal and external settingsDevelop deep relationships with downstream providers, the broader ecosystem and other external R&D organizationsPresent relevant thought leadership to senior executives in Accenture and its clients
Spearhead thought leadership through publications/POV's, patents and speaking engagements
Manage Cyber Security R&D AgendaDefine, prioritize, and lead multiple Cyber Security R&D projects; chart a long-term Cyber Security R&D roadmapFormulate and execute Cyber Security R&D agenda, which involves discovering the relevant ecosystem to work with, prototype, establish pioneering engagements and package the results for scaling to the rest of AccentureUnderstand, articulate and further identify key Security trends and its potential business impactWork closely with the Cyber Security R&D group lead to develop a broader technology agenda
