As we continue to grow and scale, we plan to build out a new Data Center Operations and Partner Success team based in Scottsdale, Arizona. One of the key positions we are looking to hire is the DC Monitoring Team Lead. The DC Monitoring Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and leading all activities and team members who are primarily focused on monitoring services and operations for our remote data center infrastructure.


The Data Center Monitoring Team Lead will have an administrative and instrumental role and impact on Acronis’ success, and because they will be supporting business-critical services, they must have expansive knowledge about everything that occurs in the data center, including maintenance, operations, infrastructure design, and management.   • Oversee and manage all activities for the Data Center Monitoring duty shifts team.
  • Oversee and track:
    • Incidents
    • Changes
    • Internal requests
  • Manage alerts, incidents, internal reports, internal and external notifications.
  • Oversee documentation creating procedure for duty shift team operation.
  • Conduct weekly operations meetings to provide visibility of Cloud Monitoring to key stakeholders.
  • Define and report on Key Performance Metrics that measure customer Service Level Agreements.
  • Responsible for the budget/forecast and ongoing expense management for the regional Data Center Monitoring department.
  • Manage team of 4 shift engineers.
  • Support monitoring development process.


  • 3+ years of proven Data Center Operations/Monitoring/Support experience.
  • 1+ years of experience leading an IT, DC operations or team.
  • Diverse technical background and experience (data centers, Linux, networking, VMware, storage, backup and recovery, security, customer support centers, networking and monitoring tools).
  • Basic project management skills and ability to lead at least 2-3 infrastructure projects at a time.
  • Knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes.
  • English communication, both written and verbal is a must.
