We have partnered with a large accounting firm in the San Jose, CA area to provide them with a Tax Senior - Estate, Trust & Gift.
Our client is growing and is looking to hire a Tax Senior with solid experience in Fiduciary, Estate & Gift, an upbeat attitude, and a desire to grow and add value to their firm and to their clients.
Responsibilities of the Tax Senior - Estate, Trust & Gift:
- Prepare corporate, fiduciary (complex, grantor, simple and split-interest), gift, individual, partnership and private foundation tax returns, including preparation of workpapers and lead sheets
- Prepare tax projections and related estimated payments
- Research and consult with management on various client-related tax matters
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities
- Develop and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other client deliverables as needed
Requirements of the Tax Senior - Estate, Trust & Gift:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Masters in Taxation a plus
- Working towards or licensed as a CPA in CA
- 3-year minimum relevant experience as a tax professional
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Strong accounting skills required
- Experience using ProSystems and Engagement software is a plus
- Particularly looking for Seniors with experience in Fiduciary, Estate & Gift or a desire to specialize in this area
