We are accepting resumes for a Senior Tax Manager looking for a public accounting firm that would provide them with a partnership track while encouraging a work life balance. The candidate will be working primarily with our real estate and construction clients in a rapidly growing tax department of our DC office.

Responsibilities include:

•Prepare & review tax returns for closely held businesses, both corporate and pass-through
•Strategic planning for small business clients, including those using tiered entities
•Transactional planning for business and asset sales
•Advising on entity structure and federal/state compliance issues
•Advising and reporting associated with foreign owned businesses and financial transactions
•Researching complex tax issues

•Training and mentoring junior tax staff
•Seek and develop new clients/business

Qualifications:
•CPA certification
•Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
•10+ years of experience, with a focus on closely held business clients
•Extensive experience working with real estate developers and construction contractors
•Recent or current public accounting experience
