RSM US LLP, the First Choice Advisor to the middle market, has been experiencing tremendous growth in Las Vegas. RSM is now seeking an entrepreneurial Tax Partner to join our tax practice in Las Vegas. The Tax Partner will utilize their technical expertise in taxation, leadership skills, and service mindset to focus on middle market clients in the Las Vegas Area.

The Tax Partner must possess the analytical skills necessary for the effective diagnosis, development, and implementation of solutions to clients' tax needs. With the support of the firm, the Tax Partner will have the opportunity to pursue creative approaches to resolve client issues. The Tax Partner will have deep and meaningful relationships within the Las Vegas business community, will have a track record of developing new business, and the ability to leverage trusted relationships.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA or JD

  • Must have 12+ years in public accounting with experience in corporate federal tax compliance and tax consulting

  • Industry experience could include: Consumer/Industrial Products, Technology, Private Equity, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Service or Retail experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients
  • A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills
  • Project management and critical thinking skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple assignments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters in Taxation

  • Experience pertaining to planning, research, and general mergers and acquisitions experience
