Hulu's tax team is seeking a Tax Manager, who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As a Tax Manager at Hulu, you will be an integral part of the growing tax function within the Company. The right person for this role has extensive technical knowledge, is able to coordinate the communication between several different parties, and has a strong work ethic.   • Manage Hulu's tax calendar to ensure compliance for all domestic and foreign filing obligations
  • Collaborate with accounting team to compile all necessary information for federal, international and state returns
  • Prepare and/or review federal and state income tax returns, including extensions and estimated payment calculations
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors on timing/deliverables of compliance and advisory services
  • Identify, research, and make recommendations to resolve potential tax issues
  • Draft tax technical memorandums; ensure proper documentation for return positions
  • Assist in the management of special tax projects related to business initiatives
  • Manage all incoming tax notices and audits from various tax authorities
  • Prepare sales and use, property, state/local and other regulatory tax returns
  • Provide timely and quality support to other departments within Hulu


  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience with demonstrated success in the key responsibilities for this role
  • At least 4 years of tax experience from a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Good leadership and project management skills
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong desire to broaden/build skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to frame communications appropriate to audience
  • Advance Microsoft Office skills: Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
  • Deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, and the capability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Understands cross-functional impact and ability to build consensus with internal and external business partners
  • Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting from a major university
  • Active CPA license
  • Master of Business Taxation
