We have partnered with a large CPA firm in the San Francisco, CA area to provide them with a Tax Manager.
Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate directly with clients and contribute to the development and education of professional staff.
Review of the entity and individual tax returns in a paperless environment.
The firm uses ProFX Tax software.
Requirements of the Tax Manager:
BS/BA degree in Accounting with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience for practice - Masters in accounting a plus.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word required; familiarity with QuickBooks.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to collaborate with a variety of projects and for a variety of managers on a daily basis
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
6 years of experience in public or private accounting experience
Passionate about a career in public accounting and committed to ongoing professional growth
High attention to detail and follow through with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to switch from proactive, independent work to collaborative, integrated team member as the task or project demands
Proficient in time management with an emphasis on the importance of meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects and clients
Strong communication and analytical skills
Flexibility to adapt to the firm- and client-specific practices
Knowledge of accounting principles prescribed by the Internal
