Talent Sourcer
The Talent Sourcer is responsible for implementing research strategies and identifying candidates for the Talent Acquisition team in the Ross NYC, LA and Boston Buying offices. This role is critical because it provides the pipeline of candidates for Ross’ Buying offices.

  • Develop specific sourcing strategies and tactical plans in partnership with the recruiters to obtain the best talent for Ross for Buying and Planning roles
  • Support the TA team by generating names of potential candidates for specified searches across Ross Buying offices (NYC, LA, Boston)
  • Attend in-take (kickoff) and strategy meetings with the Recruiters and suggest strategies to find the appropriate talent for the given searches
  • Assist in the development of appropriate company target lists and proactively generate talent pipelines for roles in the NY & LA buying offices
  • Review research information and updatedatabase with current information (target companies, org charts)
  • Actively generate candidates for specific assignments (non-pipeline) using every available channel of outreach
  • Ensure all candidates sourced are logged and tracked in the Ross CRM system
  • Report sourcing activity weekly and track metrics accordingly
  • Partner with TA team on special projects


  • Minimum 5years of prior research, sourcing or recruiting experience (agency experience and/or in house preferred)
  • Knowledge of recruiting systems, such as FileFinder, LinkedInRecruiter, Taleo
  • Self motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Decision making ability
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Retailexperiencepreferred
