Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Collaborates with Nursing Leadership and Management, and other interdisciplinary teams to understand position requirements and establish effective sourcing initiatives. Direct sourcing responsibility also includes building talent pipelines for all Nursing areas, including specialized hard to fill roles that traditionally might go to agency recruitment firms.
  • Regularly attends New Employee Experience (NEE) to generate potential leads and create excitement around nurse referrals. Develops and maintains relationships with current nurse employees, and all new nursing hires to proactively meet with new hires to harvest referrals/leads
  • Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external Nursing and other Clinical Leaders in person and on social sites such as LinkedIn. Joins related industry LinkedIn/Facebook groups, etc., and is active in chats, etc. Participates in the utilization of blogs, professional networking, and group sites to engage candidates.
  • Screens candidates to determine suitability for positions and performs a variety of recruitment related functions including:
    • Effectively cold call 25+ passive candidates daily to ensure sourcing efforts produce enough pipeline.
    • Submits at least 20 qualified candidates per month.
    • Ensures at least 10 direct sourced candidates are interviewed per month.
    • Produces at least 3-4 direct sourced hires per month depending on assigned service line.
  • Executes recruitment sourcing strategies to ensure a constant flow of high-quality leads/candidates into key pipelines and requisitions for assigned service lines. Travels to local and national conferences, hiring/job fairs, and other relevant professional nursing-related meetings and events. Responsible for following up on all nursing leads from various sourcing strategies and events. Travel time is expected up to 25% of the time including overnight stays.
  • Creates advanced research techniques to find top health care talent through various mediums including databases, networking, associations, social media, referrals, Boolean search strings, online and traditional directories as well as other innovative sourcing methods.
  • Gathers and prepares data to assess effectiveness of sourcing strategy. Analyzes and reports on sourcing metrics to Sourcing Supervisor.
  • Stays abreast of current and emerging technologies in order to proactively identify new venues for attracting qualified candidates. Implements best practices to continually increase the number, speed, and quality of hires.
  • Develops and shares subject matter expertise that can be readily applied to new tasks.
  • Develops and maintains internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to vendors, recruiters, and hiring managers.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of Nursing experience working in an Acute Care hospital
  • Current active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet-based recruitment/sourcing tools such as job boards, social recruitment sites and candidate relationship management systems; overall strong technical proficiency

Talent Sourcer - Nurse Evangelist collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and nursing leadership and management to understand position requirements and establish effective sourcing initiatives. Builds talent pipelines for all nursing areas, including specialized and hard-to-fill roles that traditionally might go to agency recruitment firms. Utilizes a sourcing strategy which mimics that of traditional agency recruitment firms but from the framework of an internal talent acquisition department. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
