The Position

Within HR’s Staffing Organization, Global Mobility North America is responsible for developing and implementing the framework for the management of our mobile workforce across North America. This includes policy development and governance, consulting, supplier management and the actual case management of international and U.S. domestic relocations.


  • Partners with Global Mobility Director and GM team to develop and improve programs, policies and administration
  • Provides strategic consultation, advise, coach and partner with the Staffing Group, HRP’s and business/affiliate contacts & clients
  • Builds and maintains successful, trusting relationships with business/affiliate clients, Staffing, HRBPs, Legal, Finance and Shared Service Center stakeholders
  • Ensures alignment with the Director, team and service providers on functional and regional initiatives as well as business strategy and ensure successful execution
  • Drives organizational effectiveness including change management for clients
  • Executes global and local global mobility processes and decisions and ensure meaningful communications
  • Collaborates effectively across business, HR and Staffing
  • Ensures excellent alignment and execution of global mobility policies and procedures
  • Acts as trusted advisor to Talent Acquisition, HR and business managers
  • Ensures compliance of all global mobility practices within area of responsibility and with legislative and regulatory requirements, standards, and other known relevant policies and guidelines
  • Provides guidance and manages day-to-day operations with Relocation Service Provider
  • Monitors key data from both relocation and immigration providers, identifies potential trends and offers solutions to effectively respond
  • Manages a caseload including: cost projection approvals, coordination of immigration support, supplier performance management, exceptions and escalation management
  • Interprets policy and manage exception requests 
  • Manages special projects, conduct research as assigned 
  • Participates in industry education and networking events to keep abreast of mobility trends, legislation and best practice 
  • Pro-actively address’s customer service issues 
  • Backs up other team members (international and U.S. domestic case management)

  • Bachelordegree (business or related) or equivalent experience
  • 8 + years’ experience in a Global Mobility, Relocation, or service provider organization
  • Excellent leadership skills and for performance excellence
  • Strong customer focus and collaboration skills
  • Solution and data-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a complex global business environment
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Intercultural sensitivity
  • Immigration & Tax knowledge would be advantageous
  • CRP & GMS certifications
  • English language skills are a must, otherlanguages a plus
