Job Summary

Responsible for owning and shepherding corporate performance management, talent review, succession planning, and other talent-related processes, the Talent Management Manager partners with the Corporate Organization Effectiveness Leader and HR Business Partners to execute the Spectrum Brands talent strategy and ensure that Spectrum Brands has the proper processes to align, assess, and measure the contributions of the workforce. This role’s primary focus is to develop, facilitate and maintain processes that support the organization’s talent strategy.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, facilitate, maintain and improve key processes that support the talent strategy, including but not limited to Performance Management, Talent Reviews, and Succession Planning
  • Own, maintain, and communicate the Spectrum Brands annual talent calendar
  • Lead Talent-related initiatives that align to corporate Talent Management practices and priorities and support the Spectrum Brands strategy
  • Partner and collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to implement talent strategies and processes to drive employee engagement and business results (including, but not limited to, Individual Development Plans and the development of high-potential talent)
  • Research and apply industry best-practice tools and methodologies talent-related initiatives
  • Apply industry best-practice methodologies to integrate assessment and development to an enterprise-wide career management strategy
  • Collaborate with HR partners, talent acquisition, and business leaders to consult and align employees with internal career opportunities (onboarding, promotions, transfers, rotations)
  • Support efficient and effective performance, talent review, and succession planning practices across Spectrum Brands divisions and regions
  • Monitor and implement relevant Workday-related enhancements to improve Talent Management practices and reporting
  • Track key metrics and deliverables to determine overall effectiveness of Talent Management initiatives
  • Conduct diagnosis and provide expertise in the development and implementation of customized OD strategies, solutions, interventions and tools (e.g., strategic planning, team effectiveness, change management, organization design, etc.)

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in OD, Human Resources, or Business-related field or equivalent trade-off in related professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience with a focus on talent management initiatives – performance management, talent review and assessment, succession planning, and career pathing/management
