Univision Communications Inc., a leading media company informing, entertaining and empowering the new America for more than 50 years, is looking for an experienced TA Recruiter with proven track record of sourcing roles in areas such as: Sales, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Research, Production, etc.

The TA Recruiter is responsible for planning, developing and executing talent acquisition and recruitment strategies, operating as a valued partner to hiring managers, HR business partners and other key stakeholders. 

This requires a consultative approach and includes accountability for identifying top tier talent, maintaining proactive sourcing activities and ensuring qualified and diverse applicant pools and high touch service to facilitate a highly effective candidateexperience. Highly qualified candidates will ideally have a strong understanding of the media/entertainment industry and have proven expertise and experience in sourcing talent in sales, marketing, finance, research, and creative roles. Our dedicated TA team members also have the opportunity to support and/or lead projects with business wide impact.  Prior examples include:  launching and co-leading a renewed internship program, community empowerment initiatives, partnerships with internal affinity groups, etc. 

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with HR partners, business partners and have frequent exposure to the CHRO and other leaders.

  • Build business and industry knowledge
  • Understand the business and specific client group areas
  • Build and maintain relationships internally and especially with assigned client groups
  • Lead the recruitment process for assigned client groups
  • Drive searches end-to-end for key professional & managerial level positions
  • Partner with TA team members and hiring managers to understand position specifications and determine appropriate recruitment strategy
  • Source, assess, select candidates and assist with offer/close process
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to manage sensitive situations and confidential searches
  • Provide expert consultation to assigned clients as it relates to the hiring process
  • Guide hiring managers and HR on process
  • Provide intel on external market for talent (passive and active candidates),
  • Provide intelligence on industry / market dynamics
  • Build proactive talent pipeline for needed roles / levels
  • Focus on critical and repeat positions to ensure future talent needs are met
  • Partner with HR team on appropriate strategies
  • Identify ways to maintain talent engaged
  • Proactive Networking - pursue & develop relationships with potential candidates and key industry contacts
  • Conduct exploratory (pipeline) interviews on a regular basis and develop system to ensure appropriate follow up
  • Convert target candidates into engaged applicants using internal and external research
  • Guide and provide input on Policies, Process guidelines
  • Continuously seeking improvement opportunities
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniquesin order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices
  • Drive process efficiency and compliance, including but not limited to:
  • Ensure process complies with OFCCP guidelines
  • Creating and providing tools and training for managers
  • Producing Metrics/ Analysis / Reporting, as needed
  • Maintaining library of position descriptions in ATS/HR repository
  • Collaborate with internal HR team to facilitate efficient onboarding of candidates post hire
  • Manage social media sourcing channels to develop pools of candidates and referrals
  • Represent Univision at appropriate local career fairs and industry related events


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business related field; (or high school diploma / GED and a minimum of 8 years equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience demonstrating subject matter expertise in all phases of recruiting including, but not limited to, needs analysis, sourcing strategy, candidate assessment, compensation analysis, and candidate closure
  • Minimum 4 years of full cycle, high volume recruitment experience within a corporate environment 
  • Knowledge and extensive prior experience using mainstream ATS’s 
  • Proven client relationship management skills
  • High proficiency level knowledge/use of LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other internet/research online databases
  • High proficiency skills using MS Office

  • Proven experience in leveraging Social Media channels for talent pipeline engagement/sourcing purposes
  • Experience utilizing Cornerstone ATS and/or Workday
  • Experience working with Internship programs, college recruitment
  • Bilingual (Spanish) language fluency
  • Strong team player with a collaborative “can do” attitude
  • Experienced in behavioral based interviewing, pre-employment testing, and other innovative selection methods
