Quality Custom Distribution, a division of Golden State Foods, provides custom distribution services to iconic customers throughout the United States. Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, and home to approximately 2,500 associates, QCD is values-based and services thousands of restaurants from 29 Distribution Centers strategically located throughout the country.
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to serve as a strategic partner in the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies across the organization. In this highly visible role, the Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading recruiting programs, strategies and a team of recruiting team members to attract top talent across the organization, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. Heavy emphasis on Driver recruitment and retention.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops the overall Talent Acquisition strategy and full-cycle recruitment efforts for the organization, establishing recruiting requirements through a deep understanding of organizational plans and business objectives
- Manage the performance of 8-10 Talent Acquisition/Recruiting team members
- Proactively lead, plan, organize, implement and evaluate recruitment procedures throughout the organization and improve upon recruitment measures
- Leverage data analytics, insights, and macro-economic trends to develop a strategic recruiting program and execution in partnership with the corporate Talent Acquisition team
- Partner with, influence, and serve as a subject matter expert resource to advise business leaders and HR partners on talent acquisition strategies, plans, and practices to ensure achievement of overall business objectives
- Engage in forecasting and planning of staffing needs, including the building of a passive recruiting strategy to ensure fluid candidate pipelines for future openings
- Implement and champion an identifiable recruitment brand for QCD that carries through all talent acquisition related activities
- Leverage all available channels to promote QCD brand in collaboration with the Global Branding and Communications team
- Ensures that the department is using best practice activities and resources to source top talent and a diverse slate of candidates for all positions, ensuring that the candidate experience is exceptional. This includes direct sourcing resources, effective posting and advertising, and strategic use of college recruiting and career fair activities
- In partnership with HR, lead key recruiting initiatives, including a strategic framework for QCD career development programs, including Leadership Trainee and General Manager Designate Programs
- Maintain knowledge of broad HR policies, programs, laws, and issues with focus on how they systematically relate to talent acquisition practices

Qualifications
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, experience and knowledge equivalent to:

- Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Marketing or other from an accredited college or university

- Experience:
- 5 to 7 years in a recruiter role focused on the recruitment of all levels of employees, including hourly workforce to entry level non-exempt positions to Senior Leadership positions
- Experience leading a geographically disbursed team
- Well-developed computer aptitude with proficient skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to adapt to and learn new systems quickly

- Must have a strong ability to identify, analyze and assimilate the components of an identified focus within talent acquisition activities, develop & recommend clear strategies, processes and methods

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Knowledge of (B/basic; J/journey; E/expert):
- Full life cycle recruiting
- Regulations with the DOL, EE OC and OFCCP.
- Knowledge of various functions (Warehousing, Transportation, Information systems, etc.) within an organization and the challenges of filling positions within those departments.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization, exercising a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact and diplomacy to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
- Proven ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency based, stress etc.)
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
- Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and CMS
