Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a Talent Acquisition Manager for an International Manufacturer located in Alpharetta, GA. The Talent Acquisition Manager will possess skills in identifying talent, interviewing techniques, a strong knowledge of the organizational structure and the roles and extensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for North America (13 sites) and report directly to the HR Director and has one direct report.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting talent acquisition functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing and partnering to on-board new employees and the applicable talent programs.
  • Formulates recruiting strategy plans (including college recruiting) based on internal and external talent needs including job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning and talent planning.
  • Full life-cycle recruiting including seeking out talent through multiple means (cold calling, social media, college recruiting) to find needed talent.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and collaborates with the appropriate leaders to hire employees for vacant positions and to determine the best recruiting process.
  • Participate and lead career fairs and recruiting event programs and processes.
  • Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms as needed.
  • Coordinates employment verification, drug testing and background checks.
  • Generates offer letters and obtains the appropriate approvals for candidate hiring. May extend offers as needed.
  • Present the candidate with information on benefits, compensation and environment.
  • Responsible for full cycle candidateexperience to ensure we are an Employer of Choice.
  • Formulates structured interviewing programs and processes.
  • Ensures accuracy of recruiting data for personnel transactions such as applicant tracking, interview schedules, hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Supports HR initiatives by serving on project teams as needed.
  • Performs data analysis for recruiting performance metrics identifying trends, making recommendations and leading execution of approved project plans.
  • Travel up to 30% domestically to recruiting events and other locations required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar field
  • Ten + years related experience in recruiting and talent development; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PHR /SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP required
  • Human Resources experience in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
  • Must have flexibility to work irregular hours to lead recruiting events
  • Strong Microsoft Suite and social media skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting at all levels of the organization
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; communicates effectively at all levels of the organization.
