Job Description Summary:
The Systems Integration Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining system integrations and components, including but not limited to; Cloud-to-Cloud integrations, cloud to on premise, internal and external API, and file transfers. The Systems Integration Specialist is fully responsible for participating in requirements analysis and decomposition, design, development, internal testing, and the documentation of all system integrations. This individual should be able to leverage pre-built integrations, cloud adapters, connections, etc. to deliver integration solutions. They will also assist in evaluating existing integrations, map capabilities, standards and guidelines for scalability, security, error logging, auditing and determine suitable modifications to better serve the needs of the business.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
• Design and Develop new integration processes, connections, data maps, processes to support integration needs.
• Establish and maintain integration standards and protocols.
• Design and develop key integration monitoring and exception reporting standards, processes and programs.
• Develop and maintain services used in application integrations.
• Work with development teams to architect, design, build, and implement application integrations.
• Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
2- 3 years of experience with Integration tools and technologies. Knowledgeable with JSON/XML, JMS, WS-*, SOA integration, and API Management technologies. Experience with on both on-premise and cloud/private cloud integrations. Knowledgeable of Oracle SOA, BPM, or Process a plus but not required. Exhibit exceptional technical problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team-oriented manner.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience: Seven years of related professional experience. Minimum 2 years hands on technical experience with integration /middleware platform such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Oracle, SnapLogic, Tibco, or IBM. 2-3 years of extensive hands-on experience on restful API’s

Supervisory Responsibilities/Controls: Reports to Director. General direction is provided.
Work Environment: Office environment with occasional travel between National Academies’ facilities and to off-site locations.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
