Bowhead seeks a Systems Engineer who will plan, designs, and oversee weapon system engineering projects, such as launchers, shipboard installations, and power and control system integrations in support of the Littoral Combat Ship program.

Analyzes reports, drawings, blueprints, tests, andl photographs related to weapon system design and, manufacturing, production, and installaton.

Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data, applying knowledge and techniques of engineering, and advanced mathematics.

May develop, design, and run tests on missiles, and related component systems, applying engineering principles and techniques. Requirements SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification. In addition, the applicant must pass an in-house, online, driving course to be authorized to drive for company purposes.
