Job Description :
Serve in a Systems Engineering role on the F-35 Pilot Training Devices team. Primary responsibility will be supporting the Pilot Training Devices Block 3F activities.
Candidate may be involved in all phases of engineering development from requirements elicitation, analysis and management; system / subsystem design and interface definition; system realization; system Integration and verification; system deployment and sustainment.
Undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET accredited program (or BS in Math, Physics, Chemistry or Computer Science) with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Technical strength and process orientation. System Engineering experiences across multiple phases of the system lifecycle. Fast learner, analytical, multidisciplinary; able to conceptualize a complex system at multiple levels of abstraction depending on what is necessary for a given problem.
Must have a final DOD Secret with an investigation within the last 6 years
General experience solving problems in the training systems application domain. Experience with aircraft trainers, mission and weapon systems, synthetic environments, distributed training.
INCOSE ASEP Systems Engineering Qualification. Model based development experience with SysML / UML. Training System application domain experience. Project or small team lead experience. Risk assessment and management. Pilot or aircraft maintenance operational experience. General experience solving problems in the training systems application domain.
