Systems Engineer, Senior

As a leader in systems engineering, we’re looking for you to solve complex challenges and shape technical solutions and complex large-scale computing environments, by leading the technical migration of over 500 critical user applications and the consolidation and relocation of 14 distinct data centers down to an end-state of only 4 data centers or enclaves. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions, including virtualization, Cloud technologies, Software Defined Data Center, predictive analytics and failure prediction, and automated failure mitigation and response. Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring, while broadening your skillset into areas like Software Defined Networking, Infrastructure as a Service, and other new and emerging technologies to increase customer application availability and up-time and reduce overall customer TCO. Grow your skills by merging operating system, virtualization, data center design and architecture, and Cloud computing technologies and lead a team implementing custom integrated solutions to provide real time data center monitoring, predictive analytics, and automated incident response and mitigation to increase overall organization reliability, availability, and sustainability. -Experience with providing enterprise-level IT architecture and engineering services, including providing support for more than 100 physical servers and more than 500 custom applications hosted on physical and virtual infrastructure, leveraging VMware, and other virtualization technologies
-Experience with providing systems engineering to DoD organizations in both the NIPRNET and SIPRNET environments
-BA or BS degree
-Level III Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Certification, as defined in DoD 8570.01-M and required by DoDD 8140.01
-One or more computer environment certifications, including EMC, Microsoft, Juniper, Cisco, VMware, IBM, or Oracle
Nice If You Have:
-Experience in Cloud computing technologies
-Experience with supporting automation of a DevOps and software-defined data center
-Two or more computer environment certifications, including EMC, Microsoft, Juniper, Cisco, VMware, IBM, and Oracle
-Foundational or higher ITIL Certification
