Systems Engineer, SeniorKey Role:
Maintain responsibility for ensuring the rigor of the technical approach throughout the systems engineering life cycle. Act as the project interface between developers, systems stakeholders, and end-users. Maintain responsibility for requirements definition, requirements management, requirements traceability, system CONOPs development, oversight of system development efforts, interface definition (ICD development), and performance metric definition. Coordinate with the PM team to ensure program milestones are met and the quality of deliverables meets client expectations and assist with the preparation of program status reports and schedules. Coordinate with the chief engineer or chief architect to participate in and review program documentation for program reviews and technical exchange meetings. Ensure end-to-end system performance and functionality and proactively manage system risks through identification and mitigation methodologies.
-10+ years of experience with requirements gathering and management
-10+ years of experience with software tools that constantly evolve through multiple iterations and versions
-Experience with developing technical specs and standards while working with clients on Cyber capabilities
-Knowledge of a range of software development processes, including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
-Knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
-Ability to perform in a mission-driven dynamic operational environment using a variety of solutions ranging from enterprise to QRC
-Ability to collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders to define interfaces through technical exchange meetings
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-HS diploma or GED
-Knowledge of computer network exploitation (CNE) and vulnerability research and discovery
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for briefing and documentations
-BS degree in Engineering, CS, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
