Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer (RF Communications) based out of San Diego.

What You'll get to Do:

Performs technical, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Performs analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of system engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 0 years experience
  • In Scope DoD Secret Clearance or higher and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience using MBSE tools (e.g., IBM Rational Rhapsody, PTC Integrity Modeler, Cameo Systems Modeler)
  • Experience using IBM Rational DOORS
  • Experience with DoD communication systems or network architecture
  • Knowledge of Agile software development process
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering certification (ASEP or CSEP).
