  • Systems Engineer will provide expert level guidance in supporting the client Active Directory, O365, LDAP, MS Exchange, AirWatch wireless systems and large enterprise systems.
  • The Systems engineer should have expertise in the following domains: Enterprise Directory Service, Active Directory (AD), O365, LDAP, Active Directory Migrations, Enterprise and/or cloud solutions, and 3rd party application integration.
  • This role requires an in depth knowledge of O365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows server 2003, 2008 and 2012 and LDAP integration.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of DCPS Microsoft infrastructure with focus on O365, LDAP, 3rd party integration.
  • Install, configure, and maintain O365 and Active Directory and third party products for the duration of the project.
  • Support all aspects of O365 environment ensuring security compliance, Responsible for monitoring and resolving Service Desk escalated incident and problem tickets assigned to the Exchange team.  
  • All incidents should be worked to service level targets and resolutions documented in call detail.
  • Monitor performance levels and capacity of supported applications, and assist in proper capacity planning and management.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all active directory components, resources and key processes.
  • Reviewing system and directory services logs.
  • Work with other engineers and be responsible for the overall direction of the current and future state of Active Directory, LDAP/Authentication systems, access solutions, and infrastructure.
  • Manage DCPS MDM solution (Airwatch) including system architecture and development.  Support DCPS MDM roll out and frame work for school POC’s.
  • Develop and update DCPS LDAP Directory to track LDAP credential information provided to agency program requestors.
  • Must be a close partner in proximity to DCPS OCOO IT Division on site at DCPS central office 2 prescheduled days per week.
  • Serve as the primary focal point for DCPS escalations for all fore mentioned responsibilities.

 Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Technical experience using Microsoft Active Directory and Identity Management platforms providing Identity Management within an enterprise environment
  • Significant experience with Active Directory (including Federated Services, and Enterprise Group Policy Management), Microsoft Identity Management platforms, SharePoint, Office 365, PKI, and SSO
  • Expert knowledge of O365
  • Expert knowledge of Active Directory FSMO roles
  • Expert knowledge of Active Directory GPO’s
  • Strong knowledge of LDAP
  • Strong knowledge of DNS and DHCP
  • Experience with AirWatch and mobile device management
  • Experiencetroubleshooting AD
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell scriptingexperience
  • Ability to create technical documents and white papers
  • Exceptionally strong articulation and communication skills required for daily interactive
