Responsibilities

• Planning IT infrastructure, leveraging DevOps expertise to guide application development teams

• Interfacing between users and developers to translate and help prioritize requirements

• Collaborating and building relationships with analysts and data scientists, as well as IT partners across the enterprise

• Engaging on a wide variety of projects to provide both hands-on-keyboard expertise and broader IT strategy insight

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

• Minimum of 6 years related experience or relevant combination of education and experience.

• Demonstrated experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop

• Demonstrated experience with at least one programming language, such as Python or Java

• Demonstrated experience (at least 1year) with AWS

• Demonstrated experience with data processing/ingestion tools, such as NiFi or Amazon Kinesis

• Demonstrated experience with relational database technologies and SQL

• Demonstrated strong coordination and collaboration skills with the ability to work successfully across organizational boundaries

• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated experience with capacity planning for IT systems

• Demonstrated experience handling security accreditation for classified systems and interfacing with information security teams

• Demonstrated experience with version control software and DevOps tools such as Jenkins

• Possession of an AWS certification
