As a Systems Engineer III within defi SOLUTIONS ITSM & Corporate IT Services Organization, you will provide technical support to other Team Members, support strategic initiatives, oversee and in some cases directly build and maintain defi’s internal infrastructure.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Configures, manages and provides technical support for physical and virtual environment (Microsoft Hyper-V), including hosts, operating systems, SAN storage, network infrastructure; perform upgrades as needed
- Configures, manages and provides technical support of a Windows-Server based network, including Hyper-V clustering, Active Directory, RDS, roles of Windows Server (DNS, DHCP, IIS, AD, Print, DFS-R etc.)
- Provides configuration and technical support for Microsoft Azure, Office365, Enterprise PKI platform, Okta identity Platform and other Corporate Software Applications
- Maintains strict security standards, ensure data protection and PCI compliance in design and execution
- Responsible for vulnerability remediation execution and follow through
- Participate in enterprise level security audits and successfully resolve findings using industry security best practices
- Be part of the team that designs, manages and supports the LAN/WAN and Wireless for all locations
- Leads assigned technical projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
- Ensures the availability, continuity, and security of data, information and systems related to the organization
- Performs routine preventative maintenance on hardware and software applications
- Available to provide 24-hour on-call support on a rotating basis
- Ability to understand business needs, designing and deploying solutions that meet business operational and strategic goals
- Assist, as needed, with financial forecasting of expenses, budget and capital expenditure planning
- Act as liaison to internal defi organizations and external entities, vendors and customers
- Address higher level support calls and collaborate with team on complex issues
- Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, related discipline or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability with strong detail orientation
- Ability to work efficiently and productively with minimal direction or guidance
- Experience with data center networking in a virtualized server environment (Hyper-V & VMWare)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, related discipline or equivalent experience
- Technical certification (MCSE, MCSE: Private Cloud, CCNA) preferred
- Job Related Experience:
- Minimum 5 year experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of network operations, hardware, virtualization, storage, and security is required
- Knowledge of Office365, Azure, SAN storage, Active Directory, Group Policy, Domains Services, Barracuda Load Balancer, Cisco Wireless and backup technologies required
- Troubleshooting and logical thinking skills with all aspects of technology: desktop, server, networking
- Experience with Windows Server
- Experience with Microsoft applications

- Wireless network and security
- Experience with routing, switching, and firewall on Cisco and Checkpoint hardware platforms a plus
