The Systems Engineer position will be to manage Seat Systems requirements by capturing high-level voice and requirements of the external customers, internal customers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders and to manage these stakeholder requirements to ensure that they will be functionally supported by the various components of the seat. These components will ultimately need to be verified and integrated and validated to ensure that they support the requirements with minimal risk throughout the Seat Systems lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions):
A) Manages the requirements on engineering projects, ensuring they are fully documented and traceable in line with the Requirements Management Plan.
B) Captures & validates all stakeholder requirements - both internal and external.
C) Reviews requirements with Subject Matter Experts and Test Engineers
D) Works closely with the whole engineering project team to ensure the validation & verification activities are completed on time to support the Master Engineering Reviews
E) Develops the product verification strategy and ensure agreement with all stakeholders
F) Provides status reports for requirements capture, validation and verification.
G) Creates and maintain product specification documents for internal and customer approval.
H) Liaises with Engineering Design / DMU configurator to maintain product configuration and maintenance of the drawing register/release schedules for major projects.
I) Support the Engineering change process, and Engineering proposals in response to MCP requests received during an NPI project.
J) Perform other duties as required
A) Knowledge and Skills:
i) Must have excellent organizational skills.
ii) Must be able to read and analyze 2D Engineering drawings and dimensions with a minimum experience of 3 years doing so.

Education and Experience:
i) A minimum of Bachelors of Science degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, Chemical, Software, or Computer Engineering.
ii) A minimum of 3 years of experience in Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Certification Engineering.
iii) A minimum of 1 year of experience in Systems Engineering requirements management, verification and validation.
iv) Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in risk assessment and mitigation.
