Our team is growing! Come join our team of cyber pioneers supporting exciting new work in San Diego, CA! We're looking for a Systems Engineer focused on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support our work for a high level DOD client.

In this role you will:

  • Perform system analysis, architecture, engineering, and integration services at the system and System of Systems (SoS) levels for force, theater and national assets.
  • Perform analyses of current enabling capabilities and deficiencies, identify and derive system and sub-system requirements and associated architectures, and perform all aspects of systems engineering support.
  • Perform and report technical trade studies which shall lead to the development of new architectures and detailed engineering designs.
  • Utilize the NIWC Pacfic Systems Engineering approach.
  • Provide system and system of systems level activities including, but not limited to, test and evaluation and the identification of solutions and/or tradeoffs to correct any deficiencies throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

What you'll need to be considered:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science (Master's preferred)
  • Seven (7) years of Systems Engineering Experience (DoD/DoN experience in both development and services systems is preferred).
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience with direct support of Department of Defense technical network or Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems and operations.
  • Active DOD security clearance
